I grew up in a tiny town in NC with two stoplights and not a lot to do. So, I had to get creative if I wanted to have fun. And I’ve always wanted to have fun. Thankfully, some of that creativity transferred to advertising, but I’ve mostly been successful because I’ve been lucky enough to work with best some of the people, brands, and agencies in the world.
I’ve lived and worked in Chicago, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Boulder, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, but in 2022 I decided to move back to Chapel Hill to be closer to family. And although I miss all those other places—and their foods, and their sports, and all their fun things to do—I still prefer my family.
Now, I work as a full-time Creative Director at Accenture Song and a part-time farmer at Sandslot Flowers, a real flower farm that my wife and I started in 2023. I even own a tractor and rarely run into things with it. Anyway, some of my non-tractor accomplishments are below.
